We are proud to announce the Opening of the “Clay Wenzlick Memorial Community Bon Fire Pit,”

The new addition is located in the center of the park. The Village held its grand opening & first fire on August 12th, 2023. Unfortunately, Clay was involved in a motor vehicle accident and tragically lost his life. Clay was a local resident and OE student. Clay’s love for the outdoors, the American flag, and being from Elsie was evident. Clay’s Parents Jason and Star Wenzlick along with several family and friends collected donations and spent their own time and money on this project. This will be a place where Clay would have for sure spent a lot of time.
